Format of the Contract
These terms of sale apply to all goods supplied by The Digital Camera Company Ltd, 51 Strand Street, Douglas, Isle of Man, IM1 2EJ (the Supplier).
No contract exists between you and the Supplier for the sale of any goods until the Supplier has received and accepted your order and the Supplier has received payment in full (in cleared funds). Once the Supplier does so, there is a binding legal contract between us.
In way of clarification, an acknowledgement of your order will be sent to you via e-mail when you place your order, but acceptance of your offer to buy the goods will not take place until after your payment is taken and you receive your acceptance e-mail. It is at this point that a binding legal contract is created and any contract is subject to these Terms and Conditions.
The contract is subject to your right of cancellation (see below).

Missing Items
Customers have two working days to report any missing items from their order. This also has to be verified by DCC warehouse stock.

If an order has been dispatched, but not been delivered within the specified delivery time, DCC must be notified within 5 working days if it is being delivered by courier, or 15 working days if it is being delivered by Royal Mail.
Returns & Refunds
The Digital Camera Company have a 14-day money back guarantee. Goods must be returned to us within fourteen days of purchase and we will refund your money or exchange the product. All returns for credit/refund must have prior approval from The Digital Camera Company Ltd and any items without such approval may be returned to the sender at their own cost.

We will not refund or exchange the item if:
- -The product has been tampered with or damaged. Under these circumstances we will make an appropriate offer as they will be deemed second-hand.
- -The products were specially ordered for you.
The Distance Selling Regulations 2000 state that you are entitled to cancel your order within 7 days of the day after delivery; we, however, operate a 14-day cooling-off period. Goods must be returned at your expense, in a resalable condition. If the goods have been opened they will be considered second-hand and we reserve the right to make an appropriate offer. We aim to process all refunds within 30 days.
Faulty Goods
We aim to replace or repair faulty products if they are deemed to be faulty within 28 days of purchase. We must be notified of any fault within 28 days of purchase. Proof of purchase must be provided when returning faulty goods.
If we are unable to detect a fault, it may be necessary for us to return the goods to the manufacturer for confirmation before we are able to supply a replacement.

Credit Card Security
We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our system over the internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted using 128-bit encryption.

Any attempts to use credit cards fraudulently will be handed straight to the police in the region where the fraud originated. We are committed to our fight against fraud and will prosecute every case to the full extent of the law. All orders placed must pass a series of strict security checks before being dispatched and we trust that our genuine customers will understand the reasons for this.
The Digital Camera Company agrees to supply and you agree to purchase goods subject to these terms and conditions, which shall supersede any terms and conditions on any purchase order or document that you submit to The Digital Camera Company Ltd. These terms and conditions supersede and take precedence over any previous terms and conditions.
All goods remain the property of The Digital Camera Company Ltd until full and final payment has been received.
Ordering
We welcome orders by post, phone, fax, email and on-line. If you do not feel comfortable providing credit card details on-line then simply print out your order at the checkout and submit it using your preferred method. Please do not provide credit card details by email as this is not secure.

The Digital Camera Company shall not under any circumstances be liable for any consequential or indirect damages or losses however caused.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England & Wales and each party agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
