Description
The 4-section 190CXPRO4 combines great compactness and improved rigidity with maximum height. It is extremely light weight and includes professional features such as the patented Q90° center column system for quick vertical-horizontal movements, an integrated levelling bubble on the magnesium top plate, 100% carbon fiber tubes (including the center column) and magnesium die castings.
The 190CXPRO3 and the 190CXPRO4 represent the three section and the four section versions of the PRO tripods. These PRO versions have the patented quick centre column system, that now uses a tri-faceted 100% full carbon fiber tube, magnesium die castings and magnesium top plate with an integrated leveling bubble.
The advantage to this is weight and rigidity, allowing for the highest possible reduction in weight while maintaining an extremely rigid and strong tripod set up.

- One of the core pillars for Manfrotto is design, with the 190CX there has been no exception made. All the locking, lever and main castings have been redesigned to allow not only for a beautiful product, but also granting ergonomic improvements as well as lightness and reliability.
- This new symbol was developed to represent the use of carbon fiber. The 190CX incorporates the use of 100% carbon fiber tubes for the legs and the centre column (PRO versions).
- This new symbol was developed to highlight the use of magnesium. This is a strong, resistant and light weight material. All the central castings are made out of magnesium (PRO versions) adding to the over all light weight and performance of the tripod.
- Much like the aluminum 190XPROB the new 190CX has the innovative Q90° (quick centre column system). The CX PRO versions include now the new tri faceted 100% carbon fiber tube slides with ease from the vertical to horizontal position, giving it the XPRO’s famed characteristic.
- Manfrotto incorporates the new 3-layered rounded 100% FULL CARBON TUBES ( incl. Central Column for the PRO version) for an improved rigidity and lightness.
- The 190CX incorporates new angle selector levers that have been designed to improve ergonomics and the over all feel.
- The top plate has also been changed. The PRO versions new magnesium top plate now incorporates a bubble to aid in leveling the tripod and camera. It also has been highly refined to create a very appealing design that also reduces weight.
- The new ergonomic locking levers for the legs have been completely redesigned to improve the functionality. They are much easier to operate and become a seamless element of the tripod.
