Quick Charger includes 4 AA 2900 mAh rechargeable batteries. The AA International Quick Charger uses four charging circuits compared to the one or two that most chargers use today. This allows each battery to be individually monitored by the charger and by the user, which enables a more adequate and longer lasting charge and drastically increases safety. It also uses multiple safety features to protect against overcharge, excessive heat and possible short circuiting, and uses a methodical charge rate based on the quantity of cells being charged to properly condition and retain the lifespan of the battery while charging it in a reasonable amount of time.
