" The main selling feature for me is this printer's ability to print directly on printable CD/DVD media. I was unable to find much information on the printer aside from Canon's own advertising but I did learn that a nearby Staples store had a fresh supply. Had to see them. And took one home! Out of box experience was simple and straightforward. Driver and software installed without problems. Color pictures were extremely good and much faster than I was used to. Printing labels on a CD was simple with the special software supplied. It has many options for text similar to MS's "Wordart"; curved, filled, outlined, etc. and pictures are sharp and bright on the discs. Very professional looking. Just what I wanted to replace those pesky peel & stick labels. Paper handling seems flawless, even the heavy glossy sheets. Altogether, "two thumbs up" from me."
