"I first came accross the Canon Ixus back in 2003 when I purchased a 430 from digital-cameras. The 430 was my first digital camera and I could nto have wanted for a better camera, but I dropped it last month and had to replace it, I looked at lots of models and plumped for the 75. This little baby really packs a punch with its brilliant and sharp 3" screen, you wont need the viewfinder, which is handy as it does not have one. You wont find a better camera for this kind of money, I am lucky and can buy at trade prices because of my job but even at retail this is a heck of a lot of camera for not a whole lot of money. The pictures are sharp, the timer is good, movies are really crisp and the microphone built in catches every sound going. It is just a classic Canon ixus and I am very very happy with ,my choice. The only reason it doesnt get a perfect 5 on each score from me is because it packs in so much that you will need to spend a bit of time reading the on line manuals to make sure you really do get the best from this camera."
