Description
This card reader is a small device designed to be plugged into your computer's USB port. It enables you to insert a memory card, creating an interface between card and computer. Downloading images via your camera's USB cable requires the camera to be powered up, draining the camera's batteries. Not only is this uneconomical, but if your camera loses power during the image transfer process the data on the card can potentially become corrupt. A card reader takes this load off your mind, as well as allowing a memory card to be used as an all-round portable storage device.
