In 1991, Edgar Ansmann established in his garage the basis for the company that is today a worldwide innovator. The company has expanded to be a leading manufacturer in quality batteries and chargers following the ethos of high performance products at a fair price.

   The German based company has never aimed to be the cheapest but we have been working with Ansmann for many years as they provide a high quality product, reasonably priced and with excellent after sales service. Our confidence in their after sales service has meant that we can pass this on to the customer making returns a hassle free process.

They provide a comprehensive range on lithium batteries for camcorders and digital cameras from all the major manufacturers including Canon, Fuji, Panasonic Nikon, Olympus, Samsung, JVC, Sony etc. They have developed a universal charger for lithium batteries called the DIgicharger Plus.  Ansmann are also a leading force in the development of rechargeable AA batteries. To compliment their range they also range an excellent range of chargers the most popular being the Photocam III and Energy 8 Multi chargers. At DCC their AA chargers really standout at a cut above the rest. Again they may not be the cheapest out there but they are certainly of high quality, reliable and technically advanced. In our opinion money well spent.
