Ni-MH

Stands for Nickel-Metal Hydride, a type of rechargeable battery rapidly replacing older Nickel Cadmium (NiCad) batteries. Ni-Mh Batteries do not suffer from the 'memory effect' which was a problem with the older rechargeables not operating a peak efficiency, and they can also store a lot more power. This makes them idea for use in battery-guzzling digital cameras.
