Microdrive
A Microdrive is a data storage system developed by IBM, commonly known as CompactFlash type II, consists a tiny spinning hard disk in a package slightly bigger than a CompactFlash type I memory card. Microdrives can store a huge amount of photographic data, and come in various sizes up to 1Gb. Though a bit more care, needs to be taken with the handling of a Microdrive it works out as a cheaper way of storing large qualities of images.
