L-Ion

Stands for Lithium Ion. This is the latest kind of rechargeable battery, superior even to Ni-MH. Holds more power, and doesn't suffer from the 'memory effect', where a partially charged battery, when recharged, will only register the additional charge rather than its full capacity. However L-Ion are quite pricey.
