Our Returns Policy

6 Golden Rules . . .

  1. Do not return anything to us before receiving a Returns Authorization Number (RAN) which we aim to e-mail you within 24 hours (Monday to Friday – 10am to 5pm) of completing the Returns Request Form (see below).
  2. Once agreed, we will let you know which address to send to. We recommend that all items are securely packaged and returned to us via Royal Mail Recorded or Special delivery as Digital Cameras will not be responsible for returns lost or damaged through transit.
  3. All Digital Cameras customers must send returns to us at their own expense unless they have received the wrong product or their product has developed a fault within the first 30 days (excluding any faults caused due to accidental damage).
  4. If an item is returned to us faulty due to obvious accidental damage then the customer is liable to incur a £50 administration charge as accidental damage is NOT covered under the 2 year warranty.
  5. If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, resulting in damage or deterioration, we will charge for the reduction in value.
  6. ALL RETURNS MUST BE SENT BACK TO US WITH A COPY OF YOUR INVOICE, A COVERING MESSAGE EXPLAINING THE PROBLEM AND A NOTE OF THE RETURNS AUTHORISATION NUMBER (RAN).

Failure to comply with these 6 rules will only delay the process of your return and may result in the return being sent straight back to the customer.

I wish to return a non-faulty product…

All Digital Camera customers have the right to return a product at any time up to 7 working days after the day of delivery as long as the goods are in ‘as new’ condition and with all the original packaging and documentation. We can then offer you a refund (minus the postage cost), a replacement or an exchange at our discretion. This 7 day ‘cooling-off’ period does not apply to business-to-business transactions. I wish to return a faulty product…

Within 30 days…

If an item arrives faulty or develops a fault within the first 30 days (excluding any faults caused due to accidental damage) then we can offer you a refund or a replacement dependent on your request. In order to return a faulty product within 30 days of receipt of your goods you must first submit the returns request form below.

Within 24 months…

If your product develops a fault within 24 months (and after the initial 30 days) of receipt of your goods then you are eligible to return the product to us for repair under your 2 year warranty. In order to return a faulty product within 24 months (and after the initial 30 days) you must first submit the returns request form below.

I have received or ordered the wrong product…

You must notify us within 7 working days of receiving the item. The goods remain your responsibility until we have received them back. The product must then be returned to us in ‘as new’ condition for an exchange or refund at our discretion. Please note: if you have received the wrong product then please let us know how much it cost to return it to us and we will refund you accordingly.
