How does my two-year warranty work?

The first year is covered by the manufacturer. In the first 30 days, return the camera to us for exchange or repair. In the remaining 11 months, the camera is to go back to the manufacturer to be repaired. We can provide this information should you wish. The second year is covered by Digital Cameras, who will liaise with the manufacturer to have the camera repaired at our own expense. In this period, the camera should be returned to us. Warranties cover parts and labour of cameras due to breakdown and do not cover accidental damage.

How are cameras dispatched?

Cameras are dispatched by City Link couriers on a next working day arrangement. Items will be delivered to your chosen address in most cases between 9am and 2pm. Smaller items (cases, batteries, memory cards etc) are sent by Royal Mail recorded delivery. We can ship to a separate address other than the billing address, although this should be a work address and preferably not another residential address. Items sent by Digital Cameras will require a signature, if no-one is there to sign for the item, the courier will leave a card with their contact detials on and a reference of your individual consignment number.

What time do I need to order by to ensure next day delivery?

The camera I require is out of stock, when will this be back in stock?

When we are made aware of a delivery date for a camera to be recieved into stock, this is advertised on our website.

My camera has security stickers on from Digital Cameras and not the manufacturer. Why is this?

All cameras that come into our warehouse are security checked for missing items (batteries, chargers etc) before being sent out to our customers. This is to avoid disappointment to our customers when opening the box. Once the contents have been checked and verified, it is sealed again by Digital Cameras to ensure complete customer satisfaction when recieving your product.

If an item is out of stock and arriving on a certain date will you send out on the date it is arriving?

We rarely ship out the days the deliveries come in due to the sheer size of the deliveries we receive from our suppliers, it is also is very dependent on what time of day the deliveries arrive, whether it be before or after 3pm.
